Delphine a été initiée à la musique classique indienne en 2010 par Carlos Guerra au Japon.
Elle a ensuite poursuivi son apprentissage en passant de séjours prolongés à New Delhi pour suivre l’enseignement de Pt Harsh Wardhan (disciple de Shri Prakash Saxena, Pt Hariprasad Chaurasia..) et de son fils Vishal Wardhan (2013-2019).
En 2022, elle a participé à un atelier de cinq jours avec Henri Tournier à l’IIMM d’Aubagne.
De 2018 à 2024, elle a dirigé à New Delhi un ensemble fusion de musique indienne et musique turque et perse, pour lequel elle a composé (avec Ejaz Hussain (sarangi), Neeraj Kumar (tabla) et Shailendra Wakhlu (guitare)). Elle a aussi collaboré avec deux musiciens iraniens pour ses propres compositions (Navid Tavalossi (santoor iranien), Sasan Ghaffari (tombak)).
Depuis 2021, elle se consacre à l’étude approfondie des raagas, des rythmes indiens et des techniques d’improvisation avec le maître Partha Sarkar (disciple de Pt Ulhas Kashalkar, Pt Hariprasad Chaurasia et de Pt Partha Chatterjee).
Elle se produit en Europe en musique classique indienne depuis 2019 avec différents tablistes (Julien Dimaiolo, Alexis Weisgerber, Romain Mollard, Nabankur Bhattacharya…), et collabore régulièrement avec d’autres mélodistes (Marie Line Aubry (violon alto), Nicolas Rando (esraj)).
Delphine was introduced to Indian classical music in 2010 by Carlos Guerra in Japan.
She then continued her training by spending extended periods in New Delhi studying under Pt Harsh Wardhan and his son Vishal Wardhan (2013–2019).
In 2022, she participated in a five-day workshop with Henri Tournier at the IIMM in Aubagne.
From 2018 to 2024, she led a fusion ensemble in New Delhi combining Indian, Turkish, and Persian music, for which she composed (with Ejaz Hussain (sarangi), Neeraj Kumar (tabla), and Shailendra Wakhlu (guitar)). She has also collaborated with two Iranian musicians for two of her own compositions (Navid Tavalossi (Iranian santoor), Sasan Ghaffari (tombak)).
Since 2021, she has devoted herself to the in-depth study of raga, Indian rhythms, and improvisation techniques with the master Partha Sarkar (a disciple of Pt Ulhas Kashalkar, Pt Hariprasad Chaurasia, and Pt Partha Chatterjee).
She has been performing Indian classical music in Europe since 2019 with various tabla players (Julien Dimaiolo, Alexis Weisgerber, Romain Mollard, Nabankur Bhattacharya…), and collaborates regularly with other melodists (Marie Line Aubry (violon alto), Nicolas Rando (esraj)).
